Waikiki, Honolulu is the best bargain for hotels and for shopping…also, the beach is awesome & it has a really nice zoo. Everything in walking distance. Lots of great special deals on sightseeing, comedy clubs, parasailing. But you have to get a coupon from guys on the street, then go book thru this agency. Well worth the trip! Enjoy! Aloha

Everything is very expensive, but it’s beautiful. Try going to the grocery store and making yourself sandwiches to eat. Try botanic gardens and or national parks. They should be free. Look at package flight, hotel and rental cars.

Try learning to surf, or wind sail or snorkel. Renting the equipment should be reasonable. I liked sitting under a tree and listening to the waves lap the beach.

My man and I saw a Circ de Solei show and went ona submarine. They were both half price with the package. I enjoyed them. We also drove to the seven sacred pools on Maui. Fun drive, lots of waterfalls and quant little spots on the road to Hana. I’m sure there are similar neat things to take in that only cost the gas money on all the islands.

define cheaply…we stayed on the North Shore in Waialua ( just came home 1 day ago ) at a condo for $100.00 a night. It was lovely and right along the beach. There was a market in the next town ( Haleiwa ) 3 miles away that we bought dinner from their deli. Renting a car cost us 376.00 for ten days, and we were able to go all over the island. It was a great trip. There’s always camping too…

when i was there the best time i had was just hanging out at the beach and walking around nearby, you don’t have to take tons of money to have fun

One of the best tips that I can offer you, if you are going to Waikiki, is buy the 4-day bus pass. You can buy it at any ABC store for $20.00. That is four consecutive days on and off any TheBus busses.
Another good thing for breakfast, go to the Seaside Bar & Grill. You can get a really good breakfast for a couple of bucks!! It is located on the corners of Seaside and Kuhio Ave. There is always McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC!!!
Mostly, have fun!! There are things to do, places to see, people to have fun with, and enjoy!!!
