@LethalViiper LOL, I know, right?!
I can’t figure out why, but “fat” people seem like they are the happiest, funniest people.

This will without a doubt sound offensive, but I don’t mean it to be… Fat guys are the funniest. Sorry if that caused offense

You are such an awsome guy!

that just means you have yet to build callues on your your finger tips after a while you’ll get em and the red indents will dissapre
23. April 2010 at 2:27 am
you are a very jolly man
23. April 2010 at 2:47 am
good very good
23. April 2010 at 2:53 am
you have too develop your fingertips…for awhile it will hurt but after about a month you will get calluses and it will no longer hurt and youll be able to press down harder and more efficiently

Practice more. All day every day. If after a month your fingers are still mushy see a doctor.

I enjoyed that. I need practice with my strumming.

@Pollllypocket too hard, especially on ukulele, upgrade to aquila strings, they are soft and provide great sound. i love aquila strings.
23. April 2010 at 7:08 am
it really depends what kind of strings you have
23. April 2010 at 7:46 am
the stings really dig into my fingers when i hold a chord leaving red indents
does this always happen or am i pressing too hard??

GREAT VIDEO!!!! My 3 yr old and 7yr old play the uke nicely and get better every day because of u. Thank u so much! This instument can be the gateway to other string instruments. It was for me but sadly I forgot the uke after I picked up my guitar. I was always sad about that. I won’t let my gkids make same mistake! Thank you

Thank you soo much guys! I’m a average Mando/banjo/guitar player at best and live in the mtns of TN but since my wife bought me my littie soprano uke I have feel in love with it and the culture behind it. Thank you …thank you for sharing with us; )

Wow! great video, thank you a whole lot.
Do you think that you could do a separate video tutorial of how to do the more intricate strumming patterns?

I’m getting a Ukelele for Christmas- I just clicked on this to see how easy chords are to play on them. Now I’m VERY happy. I’ve subscribed for future lessons.

thanks SO much for making these videos. It’s hard to learn how to play an instrument when people don’t want to teach! Thanks for sharing the music & love.
