See these promotion details here . * I was disappointed to hear that the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources have fallen on such hard times that they have begun charging nonresidents a $3 fee to park at the Nu’uanu Pali Lookout . In my opinion, that’s a bit of a high fee considering that most folks only spend about 10 – 30 minutes here, there are no restroom facilities and the parking lot is notorious for car break ins. If you are a Hawaii resident, you are exempt from the fee. The Honolulu Advertiser has an article on this new fee with over 200 very lively comments.
