   @Rockafellaton No, he claims he is mellow because of a horrific surfing accident he had when he was younger. There are interviews online of him saying he doesn’t smoke. Hemp is enviromentally friendly but it doesn’t mean someone saying that smokes weed.

    I saw a Jack Johnson interview one time and he said that he doesn’t smoke weed. He knows that we could use hemp in a lot of good ways just like most of us know that.

    If it was legal, I might. But, being a Christian and trying to follow Gods word it says “obey the laws of the land” So, in saying that, maybe one day it will be legal. God just doesn’t want us to make bad choices. He doesn’t want us to get DRUNK on wine. He doesn’t care if we have a drink. =) Some places it is legal. Also, God wants to treat our bodies as a temple. If you do it all the time you become a unmotivated lazy bum. Once in a while in a legal situation, maybe. =)

    weed IS environmentally friendly, believe it or not. good for you both mentally and physically at times (read: when stressed) and is DEFINITELY good for the earth. Soil becomes insanely fertile, hemp can be used for various uses all productive. And yes, he has smoked before, but he doesn’t do it habitually or religiously like some. He’s toured with Ben fucking Harper, need I say more?

    @glossopcrue yeah but the bible also says “He who drinks from the vine is a fool” it also says a lot of crazy shit that people don’t follow, you don’t have to follow the bible word for word to be a christian. I know a few christians that smoke weed.

    @ESTAndrew it’s never been proven that smoking marijuana causes any of those things you mention. cigarettes/tobacco do, but not marijuana. i suggest you do some research before speculating

    exactly man. I have plenty of friends that smoke, and it doesnt mean you have to, thats just what they choose. As long as people can remember that things like music can make us come together, regardless of personal preferences.
