  3. 2009 New Year’s Eve Fireworks in Waikiki I am very happy to announce that their *will* be a 2009 New Year's Eve fireworks display in Waikiki, thanks to the efforts and generous donations of the members of the Waikiki Improvement Association . The show will begin at 11:55 p.m. on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2009. Fireworks by Grucci will fire one announcement salute every minute until one minute before midnight.
